Joe Ravetz Photography, Michaelangelo
Gallery - Friday, February 3, 2012
A recent transplant from Los Angeles to Santa Cruz, Joe Ravetz's two studies of women in motion will be on display at the Michaelangelo Gallery opening February 3rd as part of Santa Cruz's next First Friday. The photos are Ravetz's visual interpretation of ballerinas on stage, as well as women in their stylish high heels. "My intention is to capture movement not only in space, but also in time. Hopefully the results are more like a brush stroke than a snapshot."
