Get your organization on the air at KUSP

There are many different ways for your organization to receive exposure on KUSP:

Underwriting: Reach those who make the decisions that support your business. Underwriting programming on Central Coast Public Radio provides your business with an unrivaled way to access an influential well positioned, highly educated audience. Every underwriting announcement on KUSP reaches into the homes, automobiles and offices of consumer and business decision makers.

Our listeners regard your announcement as a statement of character from a firm involved in the community. They will visit your establishment, do business with you and thank you for your support of public radio. It's a testament to the incredible loyalty public radio enjoys - a loyalty unique in the marketing environment. Public radio underwriting announcements are discrete and non-obtrusive - without all the clutter and chatter on commercial stations.

Central Coast Public Radio's seven transmitters reach Santa Cruz, Monterey, Santa Clara, San Benito and San Luis Obispo Counties. Our eclectic mix of NPR news, local public affairs and music programming allows you to target the audience(s) of your choice. KUSP staff will be pleased to design an underwriting schedule to meet your needs. Contact the Underwriting Department at (831) 476-2800 or (800) 655-5877 and via email: Underwriting Department.

Cosponsorships are cooperative exchanges between KUSP and community non-profit organizations. In exchange for the appearance of KUSP's logo in all printed material, KUSP guarantees at least 20 substantial readings of a description of the event at various times throughout the broadcast day/week. This is, in essence, a time-scheduled Public Service Announcement. Cosponsorship space is limited and determined by staff consensus on a case-by-case basis. Contact: Dean Monroe, Cosponsorship Coordinator.
