Since 1975 this radio program has always aspired to the ALL KILLER NO FILLER format. With a focus on the Rock Steady And "golden" era of 70's Jamaican popular music, the Selector makes no bones about his favorite roots n' soul harmony groups (Viceroys, Wailers, Techniques, etc.) and excursions on the version ala A. Pablo, King Tubby and the like.

A devout practitioner of the MORE PLATTER LESS CHATTER style of broadcasting, he utilizes live concert tapes, all manner of vinyl and the anal compulsive but thoroughly dedicated resources of collectors far and wide. This has been called the longest running Reggae program on the West Coast, or perhaps North America; but as far as he is concerned, it only feels like it around midnight...
