Today's program spotlights drummer Roy Haynes and bassist/composer Dave Holland.  Both have been innovators and significant forces on the jazz scene for many years - Holland since emerging from England in the late 1960s, and Haynes since the bebop revolution of the 1940s.  Each has worked with other musical legends (Holland gained fame with Miles Davis and Chick Corea, and Haynes has played with Lester Young, Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, and Sarah Vaughan, among many others), as well as with each other.  Tonight's show is centered around Holland and Haynes leading separate small-group performances at the 2003 Playboy Jazz Festival.
