Tonight's edition of Giant Steps begins with music that crosses genres, blending in "popular" and "world" music.  Included is the work of Ann Dyer, whom I interviewed live in preparation for her appearance in Carmel Saturday, July 15th.  The latter half of the program features longer tracks from reissues of creative jazz from 1965-1971.
