DEBUT EDITION of the resurrected program "GIANT STEPS," hosted by Howard Feldstein. This program replaces "Opporknockity Tunes," hosted by the departing Peter Weiler. From 9/94-11/96, "GIANT STEPS" aired on Monday nights. Tonight's program includes the complete 4-part suite "A LOVE SUPREME," recorded by the John Coltrane Quartet Wednesday, December 9, 1964.
