GIANT STEPS features jazz from the 50's to the present, focusing on classic hardbop and
progressive jazz, often including "avant garde" music, and occasionally including "cool" bop and
older music. The program takes its name from a classic composition and album by the great John
Coltrane. I welcome phone calls and requests. I love sharing the music with others, from long-time
jazz fans to first-time listeners, and hope it inspires you.
