The two-minute First Person Singular segments feature the unique voices of our community. They are broadcast each Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7:33 a.m. and 4:32 p.m. and are produced by LAURIE CORN, MEADE FISCHER, GUY LASNIER, and MATHILDE RAND.
A "best of" First Person Singular for the week airs each Sunday at 4:57 p.m.

You might think of FPS as "KUSP’s op-ed page for the airwaves," but it’s much more, shown by the diversity of the program’s authors and the topics they choose. Artists and poets, novelists, students and teachers, community activists and retirees are some of the commentators who have shared their stories and anecdotes on a wide range of topics, including local and international politics, raising children, childhood memories and even household pets.
