Monterey, California – August 18, 2010 – Marathon swimmer, ocean advocate and long-time Santa Cruz resident, Bruckner Chase will leave Main Beach in Santa Cruz at 4:00am and swim the 54-58 degree waters to Lover's Point in Monterey on August 24th.
Bruckner's progress next Tuesday can be tracked through Twitter and GPS feeds.
UPDATE Aug. 25
Bruckner successfully swims across Monterey Bay.
